FIFA World Cup in South Africa: HBM stadiums in the spotlight of the world

Millions of people are celebrating the World Football Cup, in South Africa on site, in Public Viewing in their home countries or at home in front of their TV. The fans are enthusiastic and thrilled by the FIFA World Cup 2010 and with the finals approaching the excitement is rising and the atmosphere is full of energy.

Construction-work progress at Coface Arena / Grateful Mainz 05 fans

This winter took hold of Germany over months. While many construction sites were at a standstill in Europe, the building team at the Coface Arena braved the severe cold. The colleagues of HBM Stadien- und Sportstättenbau were driven by the ambitious goal to enable the move into the new arena until Spring 2011.
